Senior Traveler
The staff was very nice during my check-in and while the room was on the third floor, it was ok. The problem began when I pulled back the bed covers and discovered the soiled sheet. It was a six inch stain of undetermined origin. The water in the room was luke warm to hot. This was in the sink. I didn't use the shower so it might have been the fixture. In the morning at about 6:45 AM I tried to report the problems and while there was someone in the office/breakfast area, the enterance was locked and the individual would not answer the door when I rang the doorbell. The plug was out of the wall with exposed wiring the microwave did not work and the alarm clock did not work either. the ceiling had spots where the texture was coming off due to a water leak above.

This place is not close to Myrtle Beach. It is no less than half an hour away from any part of the beach.

The air conditioning unit was not working and the TV unit's reception was similar to that of the old antenna days. The front desk was not helpful when contacted about the air conditioner. We were told to turn it on fan and leave it there. As if! ...read more

Traveling as Couple
The staff was rude. Even with do not disturb signs; they were banging on the doors. And dont let the Jacuzzi bathtub fool you, they dont work!

The hotel was hard to locate and when we did, it wasn't easy to get to. The breakfast area was in the office; literally. The room was not near clean but it was livable. I would not stay there again.

We thought the hotel was nice and comfortable. We were close to all of the places that we wanted to see. The staff was helpful and friendly.
